Filter Effects
Filter effects are frequency changers. They can serve as stationary or dynamic equalizers that can bypass, reduce, or accentuate different frequencies in your signal.
Some of the filter effects are:
- Equalizers - adjust tone parameters such as treble, mids and bass. It is common to see as many as 7 and 10 parameters on guitar EQ's
- Wah-wah - a pedal that is basically a tone knob with a rocker foot pedal
- Envelope Filter - also know as auto-wah
